Lacoste Perfume

Lacoste is a fashionable clothing, footwear, perfume and accessories company, founded in France in 1933 by world champion tennis player René Lacoste. After retiring from the sport, René Lacoste developed performance clothing for tennis players, featuring the iconic crocodile logo used by him during his successful tennis career.

After some initial success, Lacoste expanded into other types of sports clothing and by the 1950s the company was highly regarded as a fashionable label.

The Lacoste brand enjoyed rising popularity in the 1970s, notably due it being adopted in the US by fans of the American ‘preppy’ style, and Lacoste expanded into the production of other types of fashionable clothing, watches, and perfumes.

Today the company is still owned by the Lacoste family, and its iconic logo appears on its successful range of perfumes.
