Socialite Paris Hilton is probably one of the best-known heiresses in the world. Born in New York in 1981, she is expected to inherit a share of the Hilton Hotels fortune. One of four children, she was schooled in New York City and now lives in Los Angeles.
The party girl turned her hand to modelling, became the face of American clothing line Guess? and has appeared in many commercials. She has appeared in several films including “House of Wax” (2005) and is well known for starring in the massively popular TV show “The Simple Life” with Nicole Ritchie, which ran for four seasons, three of which were produced by Fox and the fourth of which was produced by E! . A fifth season is also due to be made but has temporarily been put on hold. 
Much of her personal life has been widely documented by the tabloids, which keenly follow her every move. Paris does not just sit back, she dives in with enthusiasm, turning her hand to singing and setting up her own recording label, creating her own line in jewellery and releasing a book. All this has meant that she has amassed her own fortune.
In 2004, she released Paris Hilton EDP, the first in a line of fragrances. Further fragrances, Just Me and Heiress followed, and Paris has also launched fragrances for men as well. Paris’s perfumes have been extremely successful and Paris Hilton EDP exceeded initial expectations with the scent being in high demand. .
