Diesel Perfume
Italian designer Renzo Rosso graduated from textile school in 1975 and went on to design his own line of clothing. In the late 1970s he became part of a group of talented designers known as the Genius Group, which included many famous names. The Genius Group created a number of successful brands including Diesel.
Renzo Rossi eventually bought out the other designers and gained control of the Diesel brand, which went from strength to strength. Renzo’s idea of creating individual clothing that wasn’t bound by the rules of the latest trends was met with great enthusiasm. Diesel has grown to employ roughly 1,300 people in over 80 different countries.
The company is known for its stylish and free-spirited casual lines and its fabulous accessories. The Diesel flagship store opened in New York in 1996 and the company now has in the region of 50 stores worldwide.
Diesel now produces a range of fragrances for both men and women. The brand’s expert use of luxurious and exciting fragrance notes and its quirky and contemporary packaging designs have ensured that its scents have become highly successful.
