Escada Perfume
The House of Escada was founded in 1976 by Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley. After finding local success with their designs, they quickly gained prominence in Europe also. In 1982, Escada opened its first shop in New York City, followed by a store in Hong Kong the next year. After the leading fashion magazine Vogue published an edition on Escada in 1984, the company’s popularity soared in the US also.
As well as achieving great success in ladies fashion, Escada also has lines of shoes, bags and fashion accessories, as well as a fragrance range which includes Escada, the classic signature fragrance named after the company.
