Jean Paul Gaultier Perfume
Jean Paul Gaultier is as well known as a personality as he is for his sometimes outrageous ideas and fashion designs. He started his career as an assistant to Pierre Cardin in 1970, and by 1976 he had established his own label. Gaultier brought the world skirts created for men and the pointy bras made famous by Madonna, when he designed the costumes for her famous Blonde Ambition Tour in 1990. He also took his turn in front of the camera as co-presenter of the successful TV show Eurotrash.
Gaultier has designed for big screen films as well as producing clothes for Hermes. Along with couture, ready to wear collections and accessories he also embarked on a range of fragrances. The first of these was the extremely popular Classique for women, launched in 1993.
