Moschino Perfume
Franco Moschino was born in Italy, and aspired to become an artist from a young age. He later established Moonshadow, his own company, in 1983, after working for Gianni Versace.
He opened his first boutique in Milan in 1989, after successfully showing his Moschino couture collections, which always had a sense of fun and irreverence towards the fashion industry. Moschino also launched the Cheap and Chic label for the younger buyer in 1988.
After his death in 1994, Moschino’s longstanding associate Rosella Jardini took charge of the design side. The house continues to produce high fashion items for men and women, including ready-to-wear collections, shoes, accessories and perfumes. Moschino’s first fragrance was launched in 1987, and the perfume line has been very successful, with the company receiving a FiFi award for the Cheap and Chic perfume in 1996.
