Vera Wang Perfume
Vera Wang is a Chinese American designer who was born in 1949. She attended the Sarah Lawrence College where she studied Art History, but her love of fashion took over and she worked as a fashion editor for Vogue before taking a position as design director for Ralph Lauren. In 1990 she set up her own salon in New York. Wang is a celebrated designer of bridal wear, and many celebrities have taken their vows wearing her stunning creations.
Besides bridal collections, Vera Wang has designed costumes for figure skaters, a sport in which she competed when younger. She has also written a book and won the CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year Award in 2005. Vera Wang also produces accessories, lingerie, home designs and ready to wear collections, and 2002 saw the introduction of the company’s award-winning fragrance for women.
